SuperCollider in 7 minutes

I’ve added a video to my vimeo page that uses the code-swarm application by Michael Ogawa to visualize the SuperCollider svn commit logs.

The logs were taken from sourceforge, it starts from July 13, 2004 and ends in November 23, 2008 covering 1594 days (or in other words 4 years, 4 months and 10 days) of activity.

SuperCollider is a great environment and I wanted to create this to show my appreciation to those who are making it possible! And… data visualization is fun. The accompanying music is extracted from one of my pieces (with the name “Anesthesia Aware”, which is also done entirely with SC and deQuencher btw). Enjoy!
